It is the country's oldest and largest Buddhist monastery. In 1960, this monastery was constructed by Buddhist scholar Bishwadananda Mahather in Basabo of Sabujbagh Police Station in Dhaka. In this religious Buddhist monastery, there is a branch of Gautam Buddha who meditated under the Bodhi tree of Buddhaghaya in India. There are two attractive Buddhist statues in Bihar. One of them is made of white stone and the other made from black stone obtained from Thailand. There is also a black stone Buddha statue of Pala period and Buddha statues of different countries.Bihar has a library and a museum. In 1982, the government of Bangladesh preserved the body's ash of Ashish Dipankar, self-contained pictures and manuscripts of China from here. The country's highest Buddhist statue, built here in 2010, is sponsored by Maha Vajiralankaran, the prince of Thailand. The height of the statue is 38 feet, which is made of octaves. However, with a lotus feet of 56 petals, its height is 48 feet.
